Butterflies & Beasts

1)
This is the rise of the fall in the sun
and this is where it just began
the golden rain of the leaves is the start of the last breeze
is the beginning of the end
we are butterflies and beasts
we are the surge at a reef

2)
Before the life is shining bright
until the begin of the night
but even this is hot and strong
there is no right there is no wrong
your sweat is tasting sweet
and your body’s moving to the beat

3)
It’s cold and dark at the other end
and love’s existing only for rent
solitude is the magnitude of my attitude
and rotten eyes are staring in the dark
we are the night and the moon
combined but separated in the gloom
we are butterflies and beasts
we are the surge at a reef

4)
and than it suddenly appears
a tender light beam is fighting the fears
the rotten leaves of the fall are serving life and there is a call
for lust and love, lust and love
we are young shoots become strong trees
and the light is guide us to the heat of the night again.
we are butterflies and beasts
we are the surge at a reef.
[break]
we are butterflies and beasts
we are the surge at a reef
your sweat is tasting sweet
and your body’s moving to the beat
we are the night and the moon
combined but separated in the gloom

we are butterflies and beasts
we are the surge at a reef
we are butterflies and beasts
we are the surge at a reef
we are butterflies and beasts
we are the surge at a reef
